Moro Women Development and Cultural Center, Inc. (MWDECC) is a non-government organization that was created in 2008 but officially registered at Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 22, 2009 with Registration No. CN200928142. It aims to provide the multifaceted needs of women, especially the Bangsamoro women situated in conflict-affected areas. It shall pave the avenue not only for women’s personal development but their active involvement in socio-economic and cultural development of the nation. Women behind this organization are committed to devote their skills, capacities and services to the fullest.

The MWDECC is operating Mindanao-wide but focuses in Maguindanao, North Cotabato and Cotabato City. Its main target is the women and their families, particularly children, of the conflict affected areas and other marginalized and oppressed communities.

MWDECC is a member of different network organizations such as Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Society (CBCS), Mindanao Emergency Response Network (MERN), Mindanao Peoples Caucus (MPC), Mindanao Human Rights Action Center (MinHRAC), Kutawatu Multimedia Network (KuMuNet), and Mindanao Child Protection Network (MCPN). It is also one of the founders of coalitions and networks, i.e. Maguindanao Peace Advocates (MPA), Cotabato City Coalition for Change (4C’s), and Cotabato Coalition for Conflict Mitigation and Meaningful Election (CC-CoMME).
