Building Autonomous and Stable Institutions and Communities for Bangsamoro Advancement through National-level & Grassroots Organizations and Networks (B-BANGON)
B-BANGON Project: Stand up for Peace was implemented by MWDECC as lead organization, MAPAD, KFPDAI and BCJP in partnership with Australian Government and The Asia Foundation in 23 municipalities of Maguindanao from March to December 2015. Generally, this project seeks to ensure that the peace process is more credible and widely supported, and strengthen the local mechanisms for averting the escalation of violence.
Community Relations and Gender Training for the Security Sector
Community Relations and Gender Training was organized and facilitated by MWDECC in partnership with Marine Battalion Landing Team 1 (MBLT-1) from March 17 to 26, 2014 supported through Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) – The Asia Foundation (TAF) Partnership in the Philippines under the Coalition for Change (CfC) project.
Prevention of Election Related Violence (ERVs) during 2013 Barangay Elections Project
Prevention of Election-Related Violence during 2013 Barangay Elections Project implemented by Cotabato City Coalition for Change (4C’s), a coalition of CSOs and security sector that was formed to address election related violence in Cotabato City. The MWDECC spearheaded the implementation of the project from October to December 2013 in the 37 barangays of Cotabato City through the support of the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), The Asia Foundation (TAF) and the Cotabato City Government.
Maguindanao Peace Advocates for Clean, Honest, Accountable, Meaningful and Peaceful (CHAMP) and Safe and Fair Election (SAFE) 2013 Project
Maguindanao Peace Advocates for CHAMP and SAFE 2013 Project implemented by Maguindanao Peace Advocates (MPA), a coalition of nineteen (19) civil society organizations that envisions a Bangsamoro communities working together towards a government whose leaders are elected in deceit- and coercion- free elections, strict adherent to the rule of law, God-fearing, gender-sensitive, environment-friendly and inclusively responsive to the multi-dimensional concerns of their constituents.
It was organized on January 10, 2013 together with its partners, The Asia Foundation (TAF), Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), Commission on Election (COMELEC), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippine National Police (PNP) in Maguindanao Province. The MWDECC served as the Project Officer in the implementation of the project.

Early Recovery and Rehabilitation for Central Mindanao (ERRCM) Project implemented by MWDECC Inc. at Barangay Gawang, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Maguindanao from September 2011 to November 2012 through the support of European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in partnership with the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), the ARMM Desk, the Municipal Government of Datu Saudi Ampatuan and the Barangay Local Government Unit of Gawang
Conflict Mitigation Program: The Case of Dandua and Dalandas Clans
Conflict Mitigation in Brgy. Luanan, Aleosan, Cotabato facilitated by MWDECC Inc. from September to December 2012 through the support of Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development Program Partnership Arrangements (DFID PPA), and The Asia Foundation (TAF). The clans are based in Barangay Luanan, Aleosan, Cotabato.
Establishing Prevention & Response Mechanisms against Trafficking in Persons in Conflict-Affected Areas in Mindanao
Establishing Prevention & Response Mechanisms against TIP implemented by MWDECC Inc. from October to December 2011 in the ten barangays of Northern Kabuntalan municipality and five barangays of Datu Saudi Ampatuan municipality, all of Maguindanao Province. It was implemented through the support of UNICEF in partnership with Child Alert.
MWDECC 1st Pre-Schoolers’ Summer Class Program
June 11, 2011 – Twenty pre-school pupils have successfully graduated the ‘1st Pre-Schoolers’ Summer Class Program’ organized by the Moro Women Development and Cultural Center, Inc. (MWDECC) from May 1 t0 27 this year. The commencement exercise was conducted on June 5, 2011 held at the function hall of the Mindanao Action for Peace and Development (MAPAD Initiatives), Sesame St., Rosary Heights 3, Cotabato City.
The theme of the said commencement exercises was “Read! In The Name of Thy Lord. (Surah Al-A’alaq:1)”.
