GOAL
To mobilize and empower Bangsamoro women and communities by harnessing and enhancing their full potential, facilitating equitable access to resources and opportunities, promoting inclusive governance, and advancing evidence-based and research-driven development.
OBJECTIVES
- To build leadership and strengthen organizational capacities of Bangsamoro women and communities through organizing, training, mentoring, and skills development programs.
- To facilitate equitable access to livelihood, healthcare, education, and other basic social services and programs that support community progress and development.
- To engage with concerned government offices and agencies and strengthen partnership with Local Protection Bodies to ensure safety and security, gender equality, and human rights.
- To strengthen collaboration with Peace and Security Mechanisms to ensure meaningful participation of women in peacebuilding, and conflict prevention and response.
- To promote the meaningful participation of women in governance, decision-making processes, and policy advocacy at all levels.
- To help protect, document, and promote the cultural heritage and indigenous knowledge systems of Bangsamoro communities.
- To generate and utilize evidence-based research to inform policies, programming, and advocacy initiatives relevant to women and community development in the Bangsamoro region.
- To strengthen the capacity of Bangsamoro communities in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery through inclusive, gender-responsive, and community-based disaster risk reduction and management programs.
- To strengthen institutional capacity to mobilize sustainable resources, enabling it to operate effectively as a self-sustaining institution.
